We are a welcoming, open and affirming congregation, a place where people of all races, religious backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender expressions are welcome to come just as they are. In 2007, members of the Fellowship voted overwhelmingly to become an official Welcoming Congregation.
UUFF advocates locally and statewide to affirm and protect the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Alaskans. The Fellowship hosts Gender Pack, a peer2peer group supporting transgender and gender nonconforming people in Fairbanks and Interior Alaska. Nationally, the Unitarian Universalist Association has been a leader in supporting LGBTQIA+ and Gender Justice, most recently through the Side with Love campaign.
